Welcome To YOUNUS INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY
The Younus Institute Of Technology (YIT) was started in the year 2011, by Fathima Memorial Educational Trust, at Kannanalloor, Kollam-10. YIT is a Self financing Engineering College in the private sector, recognised by Govt. of Kerala and approved by All India Council for Technical Education, New Delhi. YIT is affiliated to the APJ Abdul Kalam Technological University. We are committed in promoting and propogating quality and value based education at par with international standards.The College is well set to bring out competent quality engineers.The College offers professional education in B.Tech courses with international standards. In the ever changing face of fast development of scientific and Technological fields, the administration of YIT has the potential to make students understand the necessities in facing any eventuality to mold their future.

College Library
A Computarised library with more than 11,000 books,printed journals,
e-journals and magazines from the various engineering disciplines is functioning in the campus.
Scholarships
Scholarships upto 100 percentage of fees will be provided for meritorious students under the following schemes, C.H.Muhammed Koya Memorial Scholarship, Fathima Memorial Educational Trust Scholarship, Merit Scholarships.
NSS
The unit number 178 of the NSS is functions in the college providing social welfare and charity activities in and outside the campus.
Arts And Sports
The institution provides importance to extra curricular activities like sports and arts events.
Placement Cell
A placement cell is functioning at YIT which comprises of expert academicians and well experienced industrial experts to assist the students in getting placement in reputed firms.
